Instructions for enabling User Account Control

Download vista-enable-uac.bat

Please follow the steps below to re-enable User Account Control (UAC):

1. Download the vista-enable-uac.bat file to your computer's desktop
2. Right click on the vista-enable-uac.bat file on your desktop and select "Run as administrator".
3. Double click on the vista-enable-uac.bat file on your desktop. The program will run and disable User Account Control.
4. Restart your computer

Security prompts when downloading the vista-enable-uac.bat file

Running Microsoft Windows Vista will prompt your with a security warning.

Click on "Save" to save the file to your computer. Choose "Desktop" as the location you are saving to.

Right click on the vista-enable-uac.bat file and select "Run as administrator".
